The Opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a blank canvas for the right person to develop. Reporting to the Managing Director, my client is looking to expand their service offerings and is giving the successful person a rare opportunity to put their own stamp on a growing area of the business.

The opportunity is building on existing, long-term customers as well as using proven expertise across the wider company, so adequate support is provided to ensure success.

This will give you the opportunity as a highly accomplished mining professional to drive exceptional results for your clients in the areas of strategic planning, expert witness, mergers & acquisitions and change management.

 

The Role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing new business leads for the advisory team as well as other divisions within the organisation
  • Scope, manage and execute multiple projects to both new and existing customers
  • Delivering a high level of professional services across a wide range of projects that exceed the customer’s expectations
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to determine strategic directions and drive strategies throughout the business
  • Ensuring effective delivery of the advisory projects in line with agreed timeframes
  • Cross-selling and promoting a collaborative culture between all the offices

 

The Person

  • Will possess an appropriate engineering qualification
  • Previous experience working within a consulting organisation is essential
  • 15 + years’ experience
  • Experience leading and ideally building a team
  • A strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional customer service/client interfacing skills
  • Energy, drive and a desire to grow the business
