Our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of plumbing and water flow control products, servicing trade and retail customers across Australia. The customer service team handles thousands of orders and calls every month, so it's a fast-paced environment where accuracy and reliability count. 

Your responsibility

• Processing customer purchase orders same day 
• Resolving order issues such as incorrect pricing, incorrect quantities and minimum order quantity queries
• Providing customers with backorder ETAs and keeping them updated
• Handling inbound calls and email queries, looping in internal stakeholders where needed
• Preparing customer quotes once pricing and details are approved
• Maintaining customer and material data, including account details, ship to and sold to information, and new material or pricing queries
• Managing warranty and claims cases including wrong stock, short shipments and incorrect quantities, liaising with sales teams and trade stores on plumber warranty matters
• Joining monthly team meetings and one on ones

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years in customer service, sales support or administration
• Demonstrated experience on how a customer supply chain works
• Comfortable in SAP or Salesforce, or confident picking up a new system quickly
• Solid Microsoft Office skills across Outlook, Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail, you won't let an order error slip through
• A multitasker who can manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
• A team player who pulls their weight in a busy, high volume environment
