The Company:

Our client is a well respected and highly established international company who are currently expanding and growing within the engineering market.  They are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. This role reports to the Head of Finance and is responsible for end-to-end accounting functions on SAP S4 HANA. This is a great role for a candidate wanting to learn the complete finance function and be ready for a Financial Controller role in a few years.

The Position/Duties:

• Manage Month End Accounting
• Manage Vendor Cash Payment Runs (Adhoc, Weekly and Monthly)
• Daily SAP Bank Reconciliation
• Assist with end of year statutory audit
• Assist with annual budget process
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Assist with FBT calculations, IAS and BAS Submissions.
• Adhoc duties when required to assist the Head of Finance.
• Assisting with customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable when required
• Accounting ad-hoc duties including electronic filing
• Liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure satisfaction

Skills & Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and a willingness to work flexibly in response to changing business requirements.
• Team player with a can do attitude
