Your Next Role

The role is a diverse and exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than a desk-bound finance role. At its core, you'll be running payroll and bookkeeping, but you'll also get real exposure to ISO Quality Management Systems, ERP platforms and broader operations, working directly alongside senior leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• End-to-end payroll processing, including leave, superannuation and payroll records
• Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and payroll reconciliations
• Ensuring payroll compliance with relevant legislation and awards
• Accounts payable and creditor management
• Banking and daily reconciliations, plus AR support
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, PAYG administration and compliance
• Month-end reconciliations and reporting
• Liaising with external accountants as required
• Working closely with the owner and Senior Executive Team across operations and admin
• Getting involved with ISO Quality Management System processes
• Pitching in with customer service and order processing during peak periods

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Payroll Officer or similar
• Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience
• Strong grasp of BAS, PAYG and bookkeeping principles
• A genuine willingness to get involved across multiple facets of the business
• Previous exposure to ISO Quality Management Systems and/or ERP systems is a real plus
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the flexibility to support other areas when needed
• Experience with Odoo, Xero, MYOB or similar ERP/accounting platforms is highly regarded
