The Opportunity

What You'll Be Doing
Roles I place typically cover:

• End to end payroll processing, including timesheets, leave and new starter/termination pay runs
• Superannuation, PAYG and STP reporting
• Reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Handling payroll queries from staff
• Maintaining accurate payroll records in line with relevant awards and legislation

What We're Looking For

• Proven payroll processing experience, ideally in a standalone or small team environment
• Solid working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation and STP requirements
• Comfortable picking up a new payroll system quickly
• High attention to detail, especially given the confidential nature of the work
• Experience either in mining, construction, SCHADS awards
