The Oppportunity

Due to growth and a strong portfolio of projects, this is a newly created role, with oversight for multiple projects (mostly in the northern suburbs of Brisbane) along with a flagship project interstate.  Reporting to the Head of Construction you will be responsible for:

• Project Oversight & Delivery - overseeing the execution and completion of construction projects, including developing and driving project programs to ensure key milestones are met. Projects range from $5m - $40m.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring - providing guidance and mentorship to Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
• Program & Budget Management - managing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Health, Safety, Environment & Quality - leading a safety-first culture across all sites.
• Stakeholder Engagement - liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Site Travel - regular travel to project sites locally and interstate is required.

About You

Ideally your background will include:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction project management, ideally across commercial and community infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects successfully.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent program development and project tracking skills.
• Sound understanding of construction contracts, financials, and compliance.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (eg. Jobpac).
