Our client is a fast growing national operator in the Property sector, managing a diverse portfolio of properties across Australia and New Zealand. Based at their Brisbane CBD Corporate Head Office and reporting to the Team Leader, Financial Accounting, this is a well rounded accounting role offering genuine exposure to both property and corporate finance in a collaborative, high performing team.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of management accounts across a portfolio of properties whilst contributing to corporate reporting obligations for both Australian and New Zealand entities. This is a hands on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of multiple P&L statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance commentary across a multi property portfolio
• GST, cash flow, bank, and inter company reconciliations
• Quarterly and annual owner reporting in accordance with contractual obligations
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
• Preparation of monthly BAS, annual FBT returns, and statutory financial statements
• Debtor management, creditor payment review, and service fee invoicing
• Providing support and backup to other members of the finance team

What You'll Bring

• CA/CPA commenced or nearing completion (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
• Multi entity experience - confident preparing accounts across multiple companies or branches
• Strong analytical and variance analysis skills
• Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills - able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central and/or BI360 is advantageous, as is a background in property management
