We are partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy delivering high-quality projects across the mining, resources, and heavy industry sectors. Due to an increase in project demand, they are seeking an Electrical Designer to join their team on an initial 1–2 month contract, with the potential for extension.

About the Role
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical design work across brownfield and greenfield projects. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong technical capability and the ability to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce electrical design documentation (layouts, schematics, single line diagrams)
• Support project teams across design, drafting, and coordination activities
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure design compliance and quality
• Contribute to design reviews and ensure adherence to relevant standards

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer within mining, resources, or heavy industry
• Strong proficiency with design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
• Experience delivering designs for power distribution, substations, or plant infrastructure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
