- Developing business cases for new CAPEX opportunities, including return on capital analysis
- Reviewing contracts and overseeing contractual obligations
- Leading annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts, including stakeholder liaison and presentation to the Asphalt board
- Managing cashflow forecasting, including 8 week rolling forecasts and working capital targets
- Overseeing month end reporting across all Asphalt entities, including P&L, cashflow and return on capital analysis against budget
- Consolidating Asphalt group results and preparing board reporting packs
- Owning finance systems and processes, including the rollout of a uniform ERP solution and development of operational dashboards alongside the group's Power BI team
- Acting as the key contact for auditors during half-year reviews and full-year audits
- Reviewing and lodging BAS and IAS for the Asphalt Group
What You'll Bring
- CA or CPA qualification
- 5+ years' experience in a similar finance business partnering role
- Background in asphalt, quarries, concrete, recycling or civil construction highly regarded
- Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to business partner with operational stakeholders at all levels
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with genuine attention to detail
- Initiative, lateral thinking and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior management and the board
What's on Offer
- A competitive remuneration package, including mobile phone and laptop
- The chance to be a genuine business partner, not just a back office finance function
- Exposure to a growing ASX listed business with real career progression opportunities
