Our client is a global leader in the mining industry. They are now looking for a Financial/Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to/being mentored by a dynamic Finance Manager, this is a varied role and your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Prepare, review and analyse operations monthly results
• Provide monthly management accounts to the Operations team
• Month end procedures
• Consolidations
• Business partnering
• Variance analysis
• Commentary on variances
• Reconciliations
• Assist with half year and year end audits
• Assist with the budgeting process
• Systems and process improvement

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified, have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience, either coming straight out of chartered or someone that has mining experience, strong technical skills and intermediate Excel skills. You will be a team player and be able to work to deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a first mover from chartered to get into commerce and progress your accounting career.
