Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced operations leader to join and help shape the next chapter of the business.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role with ownership and influence. You'll oversee all freight operations end-to-end, lead and develop a talented team across onshore and offshore locations while working closely with the Managing Director to drive operational excellence and play a key part in shaping the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead all freight forwarding operations across air, sea and road
• Manage daily workflow, prioritisation and resource allocation
• Oversee and develop onshore and offshore team members
• Build and refine SOPs and cross-team workflows
• Mentor and coach the team to build capability and engagement
• Manage key client and supplier relationships with care and professionalism
• Drive system quality, data integrity and process improvement
• Handle people management, performance, and WHS compliance
• Report operational KPIs and insights to the Director
• Contribute to business growth strategies and operational scalability

The Person

• A background in a similar role in logistics or shipping
• Strong leadership experience with a positive, inclusive and solutions-focused approach
• Sound knowledge of compliance and trade requirements
• Excellent client and supplier relationship management capability
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment
• Familiarity with freight management systems and data quality practices
