About the Role

A well-established national brand is looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join their corporate finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a genuine entry-level opportunity where you'll be part of a hands-on team and learn the end-to-end AP function. There's real potential for the right person to transition into a permanent role. This role is based in Brisbane CBD with WFH options.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing high-volume invoices accurately and on time
• Matching purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Responding to supplier and internal stakeholder queries
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
• General finance administration as required

What We're Looking For

• Some exposure to accounts payable or general finance administration (even internship or placement experience is fine)
• Strong attention to detail 
• Good communication skills; you'll be dealing with suppliers and internal teams regularly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience with accounting software is a bonus, not a dealbreaker
