The Opportunity

Our client is bringing their Marketing in house and is seeking an Innovative Marketing Manager to join their team in a newly created position. This is a family-owned business that has a national footprint in a fast-paced environment with multiple entities. You will have the opportunity to put your creative flair to use and will be responsible for the growth and profitability of their business. With a diverse Corporate Social Responsibility, they are generous supporters of a variety of charities.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and overseeing all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, their catalogue and content creation.
• Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Working closely with the sales teams to identify market opportunities.
• Creating marketing materials (would love this person to have some graphic design and photography in their background but not essential)
• Leading and influencing external/internal stakeholders
• Creating and managing the annual and seasonal marketing calendar, catalogue and media plan including season launches, activations, collaborations, partnerships and promotions.
• Execution of the digital marketing plan across social, SEO, SEM, CRM EDMs etc.
• Coordinating with external agencies and vendors as needed.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven work experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and brand growth.
• Solid understanding of digital marking tools and techniques including Google SEO and Ads
• Proficiency in graphic design software, with highly desirable experience in Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as being supportive to the team.
