About the role

Are you an experienced paralegal with a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients? Optimum Legal is a plaintiff-focused personal injury firm and we're growing our team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll manage your own files across three key practice areas from day one.

You'll work closely with senior solicitors, take real ownership of your caseload, and make a genuine difference to clients navigating some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

What you'll do

• Assist with the management of PI files from instruction to settlement or trial
• Draft correspondence, court documents list of documents and schedules of damages
• Requesting medical, expert and employment records
• Liaise with clients, insurers and treatment providers
• Assist with CTP statutory benefits and WorkCover claims
• Prepare for mediations, conferences and hearings
• Monitor statutory deadlines and limitation dates

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' paralegal experience in Personal Injury
• Experience in MVA, PIPA and/or WorkCover matters
• Strong knowledge of Queensland legislation and procedure
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload independently
