The Company

Hastings Deering is an official CAT equipment supplier with a dedicated team who work to service customers across a broad range of industry sectors including mining, construction, power systems and primary industries. They not only sell the full range of equipment but offer rental, spare parts and customer support services. Due to growth, they are currently looking to appoint a Business Process Coordinator to be based in their Head Office at Archerfield.

About the Role

Reporting to the Business and Process Solutions Manager, you will provide support to the wider service support team. You will identify process inefficiencies and review and update business process, in alignment with business needs.  You will be responsible process improvement development and implementation.

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and implement relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions in regards to new systems applications for the service department.
  • Maintain existing documentation and ensure it is kept up to date to reflect with updates made to the systems applications.
  • Analyse and interpret business data to facilitate decision making.
  • Develop change and implementation plans including education and training.
  • Work toward meeting strict deadlines.
  • Ensure standardisation and consistency when delivering process execution.

About You

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • 5 years’ experience within a Service Department Administration role.
  • Experience within a heavy industry environment.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with various internal stakeholders and building solid working relationships.
  • Tertiary qualiification in Information Technology, Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
