About the Business
Our client is a large, well-established organisation operating across the Asia Pacific region with an extensive warehousing and distribution network. The business is currently undergoing a significant phase of technology transformation, including the rollout of a new automated warehouse environment.
About the Role
This is a permanent, Brisbane-based opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Management System (WMS) Specialist to take full ownership of a live Infios/Körber Warehouse Advantage environment across a large multi-site network.
You will be the go-to technical authority for all things WMS — managing BAU support, delivering system enhancements, governing change deployments and acting as the primary escalation point for warehouse teams across Australia and internationally.
A major focus of the role is supporting the integration between the Infios/Körber WMS and a new Swisslog AutoStore automation platform currently being rolled out — making this a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work at the cutting edge of warehouse automation technology.
What You Will Be Doing
- Owning and managing the Infios/Körber Warehouse Advantage platform day to day across a national and international warehouse network
- Delivering system enhancements, configuration changes and upgrades through a structured change governance framework
- Supporting and maintaining integrations between the WMS, ERP and automation control systems
- Acting as L2/L3 escalation point for WMS incidents across multiple sites, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes
- Managing database health, SQL troubleshooting and system performance monitoring
- Creating and maintaining runbooks, SOPs and technical documentation
- Working closely with warehouse operations teams, IT and external vendors to keep the platform optimised and stable
- Supporting the ongoing rollout of the WMS to additional sites across the international network
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience owning or implementing an enterprise WMS platform. Infios/Körber Warehouse Advantage experience highly regarded
- Strong SQL and database skills — stored procedures, performance troubleshooting and data management
- Experience managing integrations between WMS and ERP or automation systems
- Solid understanding of change governance, release management and technical documentation
- Comfortable working across both warehouse operations and IT teams
- Exposure to warehouse automation technologies (AutoStore, ASRS, AMR, AGV or similar) is a bonus but not essential
- Experience in heavy equipment, logistics, 3PL or distribution environments well regarded
