The Opportunity

Nolan Group is a privately owned wholesale distribution business operating nationally across multiple market sectors. They are currently seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join their Western Australian Customer Service team based in Kewdale.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality customer service, and supporting end-to-end order management.

Duties:

Your daily work may change and can include any of the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Managing inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat

  • Processing customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently

  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Building strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention

  • Maintaining accurate customer records in CRM and ERP systems

  • Monitoring order status and coordinating with logistics and internal teams

  • Communicating order updates, delays, or issues to customers

  • Assisting customers with product enquiries and selection

  • Supporting internal teams by sharing customer feedback and insights

  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace safety requirements

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service or similar role

  • Strong customer service skills with a solution-focused approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional phone manner and ability to build rapport

  • Experience with order processing, data entry, and records management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM experience advantageous)

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Good numerical skills and problem-solving ability
