The Opportunity

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful operations of the Human Resources function by aligning the Human Resources business strategy to the broader business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Drive and implement HR solutions in line with the HR strategy and collaborate with senior management to implement HR projects and initiatives
  • Advise leaders on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations and performance management in alignment with common human resources strategies and processes
  • Drive and manage the full employee cycle from recruitment and selection, engagement, onboarding and employee development
  • Provide accurate advice to leaders / payroll and employees on award interpretation
  • Handle all workplace health and safety including reporting
  • Providing salary and remuneration advice to line managers including managing all remuneration reviews
  • Delivery of internal training to employees and leaders
  • Manage financial performance of the HR and training budgets
  • Lead a small team to achieve and deliver results to the business

The Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar position alongside:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce or alike
  • A solid background as a HR generalist alongside HR managerial experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a small team of HR professionals
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship building skills
  • A hands on approach with the ability to work in a fast paced environment that is constantly evolving
